Bucharest Theatre

The Bucharest Theatre is a national opera and ballet performance venue in Romania. It is situated in a historical building in Bucharest, built in 1953, near the Cotroceni neighborhood.

The first opera performed there was Tchaikovsky's Queen of Spades on January 9th, 1954; the first ballet was Coppélia, which was performed on the following night.
